ILMxLAB / ILM Interactive – Lucasfilm Co-founded and led Lucasfilm’s award-winning immersive entertainment studio from inception through a decade of groundbreaking work. Built a world-class team that produced some of the industry’s most decorated VR, AR, and spatial computing experiences.
Pre-2015/Executive in Charge of Strategic Planning
Industrial Light & Magic – Lucasfilm Drove cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple business units, emphasizing holistic approaches to complex and interdependent industry challenges. Led the effort to open three global studios and acted as a strategic bridge between Production, Technology, Finance, and Operations – ensuring alignment with both Lucasfilm’s and Disney’s overarching goals.
1992-1996/Founder
Visionsmiths, Inc. Founded an independent company to design, develop, and market creative properties for family entertainment. Co-created TerraTopia – an award-winning transmedia property raising environmental awareness for children 5-12 through adventure-based story and characters. The property spanned comic books, a graphic novel (1994 Parents Choice Award winner), a CD-ROM game, clothing and books. Also led an engagement for the Walt Disney Company to develop an original creative property as the foundation for a new educational business venture.
1988-1992/Director, Lucasfilm Learning
Lucasfilm Served as Executive Producer for educational media projects, co-developing award-winning programs in partnership with the National Audubon Society, Harcourt Brace, and the National Geographic Society. Programs received a 1994 Gold CINDY Award, A CINE 1992 Golden Eagle Award, a Silver Apple at the National Educational Film & Video Festival, and one of President Bush’s 1000 Points of Light Awards.

PGA ᐧ TIFF ᐧ Television Academy ᐧ Arts Education Co-Chair of the Innovation Task Force for the Producers Guild of America. Member of the global advisory committee for TIFF: The Market. Former member of the Executive Committee of the Television Academy’s Emerging Media Programming Peer Group. In 1992-93 served on the nationwide Arts Partnership Working Group – an appointed 50-member task force advising the U.S. Secretary of Education on arts education’s role in the core curriculum.
